I swear I only meant to scare off the human thief. not end up fated to her. She breaks into my lair, steals the last piece of my past, and looks me in the eye like she isn't terrified of a dragon. And that's the first problem-she should be. Because Maeva is stubborn, reckless, and too warm for someone like me, every instinct I have says to send her away.
