God's Spokesmen

From the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, we read the stories of men and women who spoke the word God put on their heart. These prophetic figures suffered and died for the message they were asked to communicate. Jesus lifted them up as examples for His people to follow. Inspired by God, these men and women of faith gave us the Scriptures we have today. They were used by God to challenge, rebuke, encourage and lead His people in the path He had marked out for them.
What is the ministry of prophecy? What does it look like? Does the gift still exist in our day? The answers to this and all questions are found in the pages of the inspired word of God. It is the intention of this study to simply let these Scriptures speak for themselves. This is a survey of the Bible's teaching about the ministry of prophecy.
