Gilgamesh Told True: The Wild Man, reimagines the opening lines of the Akkadian epic "He Who Saw the Deep" wherein the gods are angry with the tyrannical rule of King Gilgamesh. They create a wild man powerful enough to challenge the king's authority and then send a prostitute to civilize the wild man. This is the story of that wild man told true. A story that strips away the myths and labels to reveal the soul of Enkidu, the wild man who became the savior of the city of Uruk, and in doing so, fashioned the greatest literary hero in western literature.
This is the second story in the series, He Who Saw the Deep Reimagined. The series is a continuation of the Pumi in Sumeria series that told of the later years in Pumi's life, not detailed in the seminal novel Tallstone and the City: A New Heaven and Earth.
