Ghosts on Duty

Marcus Devereux doesn't believe in ghosts. Théodore "Théo" Arceneaux believes in nothing else. When the NOPD assigns them to surveil an antique dealer suspected of running an international art theft ring, their stakeout location is a long-abandoned Victorian mansion - the most haunted house in New Orleans' Garden District, empty since 1924. Marcus, a razor-sharp skeptic, has a rational explanation for everything: the clanking chains, the self-playing phonograph, the slamming doors.
Théo, a superstitious Cajun to his core, has a crucifix, three gris-gris charms, and two pounds of salt. It's going to be a long week.
