I'm a human female who, like many, many others have experienced abuse. I wanted to write my story to see how it felt to put it in writing. This has helped me in my recovery. Maybe it will resonate and/or help others? I'm a mother of two, who is always on the move, am unable to commit long term to relationships, places to live and organisations where I work. I had babies from the age of 16, took drugs, drank and wandered around some parts of the world, looking for my people and a place where I belonged.
When I look at my life now, it hasn't been by design it has been because I have looked inwards, analysed my past and deliberately moved from blame to understanding and of course, practised, albeit inconsistently, gratitude.
