Aufgrund ihrer Spezifik, Einzigartigkeit und Vielfalt ziehen Fachsprachen sowie sämtliche mit ihnen verbundene Themenbereiche schon seit dem 18. Jahrhundert die Aufmerksamkeit der Sprachwissenschaftler: innen auf sich. Dieses Phänomen nimmt in den letzten Jahrzehnten deutlich zu, was auf wirtschaftliche Globalisierung sowie eine rasante Entwicklung des Arbeitsmarktes und das damit verbundene Entstehen immer neuer Berufe zurückzuführen ist.
Der vorliegende Sammelband setzt sich zum Ziel, den Diskurs über Fachsprachen, Fachkommunikation sowie Fachsprachendidaktik zu ergänzen und zu bereichern. Die Autor:innen der einzelnen Beiträge nehmen differenzierte Aspekte unter die Lupe, wodurch der vorliegende Band einen komplexen Überblick über die aktuelle Forschung vermittelt. Due to their specificity, uniqueness and diversity, specialised languages and all the subjects associated with them have attracted the attention of linguists since the late 18th century.
This phenomenon has increased in recent decades due to economic globalisation, the rapid development of the labour market and the creation of new professions. The aim of this anthology is to supplement and enrich the discourse on specialised languages, specialised communication and didactics of specialised languages. The authors of the contributions examine various aspects, which ensures that this volume will provide a complex overview of current research on specialised languages, specialised communication and didactics of specialised languages.
