In the distant future, on twin planets settled by a group called the New Aged Hippies, duels between women are legal. These duels are mainly hand-to-hand combat to the death. They broadcast most of these fights on live television. Eva's mother dies during a duel after the promotors replaces her challenger with a professional fighter. The eleven-year-old Eva views this as murder. At her mother's funeral she vows to revenge her death when she turns twenty-one.
At eighteen she joins a fighting academy to get the fighting skills needed during a duel. She competes in many fighting based sports events during her three years at the academy. During this time she makes true friends and one of them becomes her lover. Everything goes to plan until she learns that she may have to face one of her closest friends in a duel before she can revenge her mother's death.
