While preserving the main storyline, characters, futuristic worldbuilding, environmental themes, and emotional heart of the original version, this edition presents the story in a lighter, more accessible form designed for middle grade audiences.
Although written for younger readers, the EMM series still explores important themes such as climate change, environmental conservation, technological growth, political conflict, rivalry, and humanity's future across multiple worlds. Some fictional events and situations within the story may also reflect real-world environmental concerns, encouraging readers to think about the connection between civilization, nature, and scientific progress in an imaginative and age-appropriate way. This book is Volume-2 of the EMM (Earth) (Moon) (Mars) The Mandala Labyrinth Gold series.
Unlike a standalone novel, this story continues directly from the first book, making the characters, events, and worldbuilding introduced there important for fully understanding this volume. While the first book focused heavily on introducing the EMM World and its major characters, this second volume begins expanding the story into a much larger journey. The early chapters continue exploring the emotional and personal struggles of the characters before the story gradually grows into something far bigger.
In this book, the journey of the main protagonist, VJ, continues as he faces greater responsibilities, difficult emotional challenges, and an increasingly dangerous conflict involving Croco. Several important new characters are introduced, while existing characters are explored in greater depth. Meanwhile, the worlds of Earth, the Moon, and the Mars continue to evolve, revealing more of the political tensions, emotional relationships, social systems, and hidden forces shaping the EMM World. This volume is meant to feel like a true continuation of the first book rather than a repetition of it.
The foundations have already been established. Here, the characters continue growing into themselves, their relationships deepen, and the larger direction of the saga becomes clearer.
