This book deals with the life history and writings of three great female authors: Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë, who all died relatively young. These three daughters of a poor country clergyman, published, at the beginning, their poems and novels under male pseudonyms, like many contemporary female writers; before to become famous all over the world.
