Résumé
Nixon wanted the Catholic democrat JFK to be associated with an assassination of a foreign leader who was Catholic, South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem, so that he could win the 1972 election through discouraging Catholic voters from voting for his democratic opponent George McGovern because of the supposed hand of democrat Catholic JFK in the murder of Roman Catholic South Vietnamese President Diem.
The construction of phony cables manufactured by his plumber Watergate burglar CIA officer henchman E. Howard Hunt to falsely implicate a Kennedy role in the assassination of Ngo Dinh Diem was part of a plan to release the manufactured cables to a Life Magazine reporter. Propaganda specialist CIA officer E. Howard Hunt disseminated radio propaganda in support of guerrilla exiles fighting for the profit interests of United Fruit company, whereas in the case of Angola, the CIA propaganda teams wrote phony stories in support of paramilitary UNITA guerrillas that were actively sabotaging the facilities of American petroleum corporation Chevron-Gulf because of its alignment with a left-wing government.
