Now Jarek has to carry the only warning across two hundred miles of lawless terrain to the sealed blast doors of Cheyenne Mountain, on a broken leg, with a fourteen-year-old ham radio operator as his only ally. Between them and NORAD: armed roadblocks, a charismatic fabricator whose loyalties don't add up, and an enemy surveillance net closing around the one place that can stop what's coming. The clock is counting down to an execution date that won't wait for them to arrive.
