Days of Courage

"Days of Courage" tells the story of my life journey, a 40-year-old mother, who has to struggle as a single parent in the midst of the heat of Jakarta's dynamics in 2024. This story started from my humble story as a small street food vendor, which slowly turned into pride when I managed to open my own restaurant. Every step of the journey was filled with challenges, ranging from financial problems, scathing criticism from the community to the pressures of daily life that I had to face for the sake of my two beloved children.
Through the first-person perspective, I invite readers to feel firsthand the bitterness of struggle, as well as the sweetness of achievement. In each chapter there are flashbacks that take me back to a past full of wounds and inspirations, reminding me how every bitterness was once a valuable lesson that strengthened the determination to move forward. Supportive people-between five and seven people-have been instrumental in my journey, bringing new motivation and enthusiasm, and helping to change the path of my life and that of my two children to success.
The main conflict in the story centers on the dilemma between the desire to provide a better life for children and the burden of responsibility as a single mother in a harsh city. However, with determination and persistence, I gathered the courage to fight all odds. The climax of the story occurred when I faced a major crisis that almost thwarted my dreams and dreams. The seriousness of the situation required me to sacrifice a lot, but thanks to the sincere support of friends and family, I managed to rediscover my confidence and true entrepreneurial spirit.
At the end of the journey, the resolution was achieved; Not only as a successful restaurateur, but also as a symbol of resilience and inspiration for many people who are experiencing difficulties in life. "Days of Courage" is a story of struggle, perseverance, and sacrifice that shows that every dream, no matter how far or impossible, can be realized with hard work and self-confidence.
