Résumé

The »Juridicum« has served as the home for the formation and development of young lawyers for almost 50 years. But it is more than just a functional building of the Rhenish Friedrich-Wilhelm university; rather, its modern, transparent, functional and simple style reflects the values and convictions also shared by the young democracy in Bonn. Situated right between the university main building and the government quarter, the building represents the step by the university towards the new republic.
Therefore, it embodies structurally a piece of German legal history. With its clear, unpretentious forms and sober spirit, it has influenced many generations of young lawyers.
