In the first autobiography, What a Trip! the author, Francis Aloisio took the cathartic adventure of writing about his spiritual and sexual expression. In this 'second' autobiography, Coming to Light! the author takes us through his journey to creativity. He shares with the readers how he uncovered his inner talents of music, painting and writing later on in his life and how he managed to bring them to light and subsequently expressed in creative projects.
Every person is born with talents, some more obvious than others. The author came from a cultural background that told him that 'he is not good enough, ' consequently he had doubts about his own talents and abilities. He always had reservations about his own creativity and consequently he came to believe that he did not have the necessary talents to succeed in life. Yet deep down, somewhere in the recesses of his sub-conscious, he always knew that he had talents; his were dormant and suppressed for a long time.
In this book, he shares how he realised his musical and artistic talents, and most surprising to himself, his ability to write and become an author of various books and novels. He is grateful to the gods to have been given these gifts. He is indebted to himself to have listened to the Muse of Inspiration and Creative Arts when the calling came, and to have followed his natural impulses and trusted his inner guidance.
He was then brave enough to dare to bring them out to the light and share them with the world. He survived, as a child, the onslaught of conditionings, doubts and rejections to become a creative adult. And, against all odds, he succeeded in life. Coming to light is a trip full of wondrous possibilities and incredible probabilities and filled with exciting surprises and gifted with miracles and synchronicities.
