Chateau D'If

Château d'If - SynopsisFrance, 1944. In occupied Marseille, Château d'If still appears to be a tourist relic, a fortress of legend visited by those drawn to the myth of Edmond Dantès. But after the ferries leave and darkness settles over the harbor, the Germans transform the island into a sealed military site hiding a secret operation beneath its ancient stone. Resistance courier Lucien Artaud witnesses suspicious nighttime activity at the fortress and risks everything to investigate.
Captured and tortured by Lieutenant Vogel, he escapes with only fragments of the truth, enough to know that Château d'If is no longer merely a prison of the past. It has become the center of a German plan whose consequences could reach far beyond the island. With Élise Laurent and the Marseille Resistance, Lucien follows a trail of coded orders, missing records, and hidden movements through the occupied city.
Each discovery points back to the fortress, where Vogel prepares to carry out Berlin's final instructions as Allied pressure closes in. Unknown to both sides, Jean-Baptiste Moreau, the aging caretaker of Château d'If, has quietly begun his own act of sabotage. While the Germans believe their secret remains intact, Moreau's unseen defiance may be the only thing standing between Marseille and catastrophe.
As the Resistance prepares to breach the island, the Germans rush toward activation, and everyone inside Château d'If believes disaster is imminent. The fortress that once held prisoners now holds the fate of a city.
