Résumé

Buddha in Blue Jeans is an extremely short, simple Zen guide to becoming more present in the life you already have. In clear, direct language, Tai Sheridan offers practical reflections on sitting quietly, caring for the body, accepting feelings, giving thoughts room, meeting pain, being yourself, living each moment well, loving freely, listening deeply, remaining open to surprise and wonder, living gratefully, doing no harm, and benefiting life.
This is Zen without complication. You do not need special beliefs, clothing, equipment, or religious training. You can begin wherever you are by sitting quietly, breathing naturally, and paying attention. Written in a warm, contemplative voice, Buddha in Blue Jeans invites readers to discover that wisdom, kindness, authenticity, and awakening are not distant ideals. They are already present in ordinary life.
You are already Buddha. Sit quietly and find out.
