Strange and mesmeric powers that are now calling to the younger of the two to join her that events might be repeated!    Sandrine D' Honfleur's "The Shaming of Purbeck" follows this, as a Victorian doctor and scientist - obsessed with discovering and isolating the gene from which springs good and evil in an individual; develops a compound he believes will by-pass the less wholesome of the two traits while leaving its polar-positive intact.
