Making Revit friendly to use is a Challenge In trying to make Revit more user friendly I have been down the rabbit hole of programming trying to use Dynamo, write Add-ins in C# & VBA, PyRevit and tried to interpret the Revit API documents. With all of those efforts I found I had to think like a programmer to understand the API make things work. I think like a designer, I want code that works the way I think I think as a drafter, designer or modeller.
I needed a tool that would behave like me. I turned to using scripts that mimic actions you do in Revit by combining multiple Revit Keyboard Shortcuts into far fewer actions. I was pleased with the result. Make your Productivity Measurable In this book I try and show how you can create your own scripts to do mundane and common tasks in Revit, speed up your productivity & also be able to accurately measure your increased productivity. Easy Scripts, videos & downloads to get you working and developing quickly There are script samples in the text, downloadable script files & also short videos demonstrating the scripts working. There is also a Bonus Setup for all the scripts and more all in a main script file with support files at the end of the book.
