These tales reflect the typical Aussie humor in the age-old tradition both in Australia and overseas of fireside yarn telling. Most of the stories are factual, although doubtless some have been "stretched" in the telling and many are humorous. Whatever their origin, these yarns make for great reading and should appeal to all ages.
