Alien Galaxy. Niseyen Galaxy, #7

Alien Galaxy opens with a dispute between Jaynar and Terra as Jaynar has decided to annex Mars. Since the Niseyen have been given a huge amount of information in expectation of a joint Terra forming mission, Terrans are a mite annoyed. Diplomatic solutions are hampered due to there being no Niseyen embassies on Terra however two Air Traffic Controllers recruit some rather remote help after airport ground crew and two engineers get busy.
They devise a strategy that stops the Jaynar ships in their tracks. This forces the inclusion of Terrans. Unfortunately, the Intergalactic media broadcast the dispute. The Keulfyd find out about it and are alarmed. They can count to five (planets) and dislike the impending change in status, politics, alliances and economics that will eventually result if this settlement attempt becomes permanent. They decide they want a claim too.
