Résumé

FARMAGEDDONA Scare at Bedtime SeriesWhen Timmy Duggan inherits his estranged father's farm in rural County Tipperary, he plans to sell it and return to his comfortable Dublin life within days. He hasn't spoken to his father in fifteen years, abandoned the land for the city, and wants nothing to do with the backwards farming life he escaped. But the locals warn him: the land is cursed. Built over Famine-era mass graves, the sixty acres hunger for more than just crops.
What begins as strange sounds in the night quickly descends into a visceral nightmare. Cattle with milky-white eyes stand motionless, watching. Skeletal hands claw through floorboards. The earth itself seems alive, rotting from beneath. And Timmy discovers his family has been feeding something beneath the soil for generations, making blood offerings twice a year to keep three hundred and forty-seven starving dead from rising.
His father's journal reveals the terrible truth: the Duggan bloodline is bound to the land by an ancient curse. Resist, and the transformation begins. Black marks spread across Timmy's skin like roots. His fingernails fall out, replaced by claws. The hunger, a gnawing, eternal hunger consumes his every thought. He tries to escape, but the land won't let him leave. Tries to burn it all down, but the earth itself refuses to ignite.
Calls for help, but to the outside world, he no longer exists. The curse doesn't just trap its victims, it transforms them into willing servants, breaking their resistance until they beg for the privilege of making the offerings. Timmy must choose, perform the blood rituals his ancestors maintained, or descend into the earth to join the hungry dead, conscious, aware, and starving for eternity in the cold Irish soil.
But in a place where the land remembers every wrong and the dead never rest, some choices aren't choices at all.
