This after a visit to see his former business partner's widow, Sreelatha, and drinking a strange tea served by her housekeeper, Abhaya. A tea that not only makes him susceptible to suggestion but will lead to his wife befriending the widow herself and ensuring she too begins to exercise authority over him.
