The follow up to my previous release - The 50 Best Original Television Theme Songs - The Sixties. Here I reveal the same format in a 70s version, when unforgettable, rememberable music was created for some of the great classic TV shows. Some of these tunes flourished on the Billboard charts as top hit singles. Characters such as Fred Sanford, Archie Bunker, Mary Richards, JJ Evans and Arthur Fonzarelli will never be forgotten as many of these shows are still broadcast regularly today.
 Many of the best composers in music history are credited with these themes. Here we count them down from 50 to 1 and provide information about the shows, including the main cast characters, composers and much more including the theme song's lyrics that were not instrumentals. I also provide the chosen theme songs' YouTube site where each can be heard.
