Everyone creates laundry. Most people prefer to wear clean clothes. Laundromats provide washers and dryers for people to wash and dry their dirty laundry. That sounds simple enough. It isn't. Lots goes on at a laundromat. This picture book takes a look at some of the happenings at a laundromat. How do people use washers and dryers? What happens to things left in pockets? how do people wait while the washers and dryers clean their clothes? What do laundromat people do?The book has original watercolor illustrations and text by the author who has worked at a laundromat for many years.
The text is partly how to use a laundromat, memoir of various happenings, fun haikus about being at the laundromat and some of the things laundromat people do to make the laundromat a welcoming place.
