In June 1932 the composer Paul Hindemith spent four days at a boarding school in Plön to work with young people. He wrote short instrumental pieces in various instrumentations, ranging from recorder trio to orchestral piece. The music became well-known under the title of 'Plöner Musiktag' and is still very popular today. Our new edition is suitable for concert performance and the music competition 'Jugend musiziert'.
