Résumé

It is the 1980s and the Winshaw family are rich, cruel and pathologically greedy. Selling arms to dictators, shutting hospitals, pouring bile into newspapers, making factories of farms and killings on the stock exchange, they have turned corruption into an equal opportunities industry. No one can stop the Winshaws running Britain as their own private estate. Until biographer Michael Owen begins to research the Winshaws' history, uncovering the trail of broken lives left in their wake.
Is it finally time for the great carve up to end ? And will the carvers get their comeuppance ?
