“ Jamais déçue par David Mitchell ”
Je n'ai pas lu un David Mitchell que je n'ai pas aimé. Ils sont tous différents et pourtant, on y retrouve toujours la même écriture précise, la réalité un peu étrange, une culture incroyablement vaste et des personnages vivants que l'on ne veut plus quitter. Dans celui-ci, nous suivons les membres d'un groupe fictionnel de musiciens des années 70, qui côtoie pourtant Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, et autres grands noms de la scène. Ils ne se ressemblent pas, n'ont rien en commun, ne jouent pas dans les mêmes styles et pourtant s'accordent parfaitement.
