I am not who I say I am Marla isn't Who she thinks she is. It's not safe for Allison at home and so she runs. But with nowhere to stay she hides in the shed of what she thinks is an abandoned house. Except the house isn't empty. An elderly woman, Marla, lives there. She is lonely, and often confused. She mistakes Allison for a friend from her past called Toffee and invites her in. Allison is used to hiding who she really is and trying to be what other people want her to be.
And so Toffee is who she becomes. But as Allison realises how much Marla needs a real friend, she begins to ask : Where is home ? What does family mean ? And who am I really ?
