THE AUTHOR : Katja FRIXE studied education and worked for several years as an editor at various publishers of children's and young adult books before she became self-employed as a writer and translator. She lives with her husband and twin daughters in Braunschweig, Germany. THE ILLUSTRATOR : Florentine PRECHTEL studied classical painting and sculpture in Mönchengladbach, Karlsruhe and Freiburg. After some exciting artistic projects in Berlin, Barcelona and Rome, she switched to illustrating children's books.
