Harriet Constable is a writer and filmmaker based in London. Her work appears in the New York Times, the Guardian and on the BBC, and she is a Pulitzer Center grantee. Raised in a musical family, Harriet studied at the University of Birmingham and Columbia University in New York. The Instrumentalist is her first novel. It became an international bestseller and was selected as one of the top io debuts of 2024 by the Observer.
