Résumé

Praise for The Infamous Boundary " This is a strong book. The author sticks to the science of the debate in quantum mechanics... and gives on accurate history of the development of the scientific arguments and experiments as they occurred chronologically. At the end of the book one has been brought to the present state of the debate... It is a great contribution to state the problem clearly as this book does and hints at some directions for further study. " - The Chemical Intelligence " Interesting and informative... Wick writes engagingly and... the mix of physic and historical anecdotes goes down very well." - Jeffrey Bub, Department of Philosophy, University of Maryland, College Park " Provides [an]... accurate portrait of the essence of the disputes, both epistemological end technical, that characterize contemporary inquiry. This book will profit any reader-physicist, mathematician, philosopher, or civilian-who wants a comprehensive and intelligible survey of this pesky episode in fundamental physical theory." - Choice " I have no hesitation in recommending this book to anyone interested in the history, philosophy or sociology of science." - Physics World
