Joseph Schmuller is a vice president and technical systems engineer at the bank of America, where he mates reusable software components. He uses UML to model these components and all aspects of system development. From 1991-1997, he was editor in chief of PC AI magazine and has written more than 50 articles, editorials, and reviews on a variety of topics in computing. He is co-founder of Component Space, Inc.
