Vincenzo de Bellis (Castellana Grotte, 1977) is a curator, and is currently global director of fairs and exhibition platforms for Art Basel (Basel, Hong Kong, Miami and Paris). Previously, he was curator and associate director of the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis ; artistic director of miart, Milan, and founder and co-director of Peep-Hole art center, Milan. He has curated solo exhibitions and retrospectives of numerous Italian and international artists including Giorgio Andreotta Calò, Uri Aran, Francesco Arena, Nairy Baghramian, Danilo Correale, Jimmie Durham, Formafantasma, Linda Fregni Nagler, Mario Garcia Torres, Paolo Gioli, Adelita Husni Bey, Paolo Icaro, Jannis Kounellis, Renata Lucas, Stanley Whitney and Betty Woodman.
Moreover, he has curated major group shows, such as Ennesima : An Exhibition of Seven Exhibitions on Italian Art (La Triennale di Milano) ; The Paradox of Stillness : Art, Object, and Performance (Walker Art Center, Minneapolis) ; American Art 1961–2001 : The Walker Art Center Collections from Andy Warhol to Kara Walker (Palazzo Strozzi, Florence). Alessandro Rabottini (Atri, 1976) is a writer and curator, and is currently artistic director of the Fondazione In Between Art Film.
He was previously artistic director of miart, external curator of the Museo Madre in Naples, and chief curator of GAMeC in Bergamo. He has curated solo exhibitions and retrospectives of the work of Andrea Anastasio, Gianfranco Baruchello, Keren Cytter, Latifa Echakhch, Giuseppe Gabellone, Massimo Grimaldi, John Latham, David Maljkovic, Marcello Maloberti, Victor Man, Adrian Paci, Robert Overby, Walid Raad, Pietro Roccasalva, Tim Rollins & KOS, Sterling Ruby, Ettore Spalletti, and Danh Vo.
In addition, he has curated exhibitions and publications for institutions including the Bergen Kunsthall, the Center d'Art Contemporain in Geneva, GAM in Turin, Le Consortium in Dijon, MAXXI L'Aquila, PAC and La Triennale di Milano in Milan, and the Accademia di Francia in Rome. He has contributed to museum catalogs on the practice of Michael Anastassiades, Cecily Brown, Chiara Camoni, Formafantasma, Thao Nguyen Phan, Ugo Rondinone, Dana Schutz, Piotr Ukla?ski and Paloma Varga Weisz.
