Niru is the quintessential all-American boy : a top student and athletics star, he is bound for Harvard once he graduates from his prestigious private high school. But Niru has a painful secret, one that he has only shared with his best friend, Meredith. He is gay - an abominable sin to his conservative Nigerian parents.
