It's early 2020 in New York, and the looming threat of a global pandemic begins to unsettle the gilded lives of Manhattan's literary and social elite. Now in their sixties, Russell and Corrine Calloway are navigating a new chapter : downsizing from their Harlem brownstone to a penthouse in the Village and all the while facing the encroaching anxieties of aging.
