The objectives of the Network Unimed-Forum are: To develop cooperation between students and researchers of the universities of the Mediterranean area; Publication of researches; The creation of a network of universities of Unimed-Forum; To make known the work of the regional organizations (Regional Council, General Council...) to the potential decision makers of the Mediterranean. The seminars are organized every year in order to help in the short-medium term to reinforce the image of PACA Region and the Universities and in the long term the links between the students of PACA and all the Universities of the Mediterranean participating in the research programs integrated within its several universities.

Prof. Gilbert Benhayoun is Head of a research center (CEREFI) at the Faculty of Economics at Paul Cézanne University - Aix-Marseilles III. His main fields of research are sustainable development, regional economy and research development, and economies in the Mediterranean Basin. Author of several books on the Mediterranean issue, he is also responsible for many training programs across the Mediterranean Basin and has created the Network Unimed-Forum. Prof.
Raphael Bar-El is working at the Public Policy and Administration Department of the School of Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel. His main fields of research are applied economic policy, regional development and cooperation. He took part in the economic negotiations with Jordan and in projects regarding the long-term prospects for economic collaboration with the Palestinian Authority. Emmanuelle Moustier is Master of Lectures at the Faculty of Economics at Paul Cézanne University - Aix-Marseilles III.
She is also a member of CEREFI.
