Professions in the wine industry

There are many different professions in the wine industry and the author does not pretend to cover all of them in this book. However, the interviews and subjects that are included in this book will allow the reader - who wants to learn about the wine industry or who wants to go into more depth - to understand the challenges the industry faces as it embraces change, where new techniques are being developed and where professions are continually evolving.

Professions fascinate by their very complexity, their history and how they might evolve in the future. What we do for a living constitutes the very essence of our daily lives and this is true for men and women from all walks of life, and whatever their nationality. However, professions are evolving all the time and the world in which we live is shifting our perspective, changing the ways in which we behave and how we think, and eventually it will change how we go about our daily lives.
