'Prelude, Recitative and Aria' is an arrangement of Hermes' Aria "O Divine Music" from the composer's 1962 opera King Priam and was premiered by the Oriana Trio in 1964. It is a relatively straightforward work in three distinct sections and is a major addition to the repertoire by one of the most important British composers of the 20th century.
