Résumé
Architecture is being conceived and communicated through images, plans and models. This atlas of plans, drawings and image studies on different building typologies showcases the pedagogy of the design studio EAST as part of the architecture degree at Swiss university EPFL. The book documents the design process from earliest reference to built 1 : 1 project, complemented by texts, photo essays by renowned Swiss photographer Joël Tettamanti, and an interview with Spanish architect Rafael Moneo.
