Peter Doig - Beau Livre

Richard Shiff is the Effie Marie Cain Regents Chair in Art and director of the Center for the Study of Modernism at the University of Texas at Austin. His publications include Cézanne and the End of Impressionism (1984), Barnett Newman : A Catalogue Raisonné (2004), Doubt (2008), and Between Sense and de Kooning (2011). Catherine Lampert is an independent curator, writer, and art historian. She is a visiting professor at University of the Arts, London, and was formerly director of the Whitechapel Gallery, London (1988-2001).
Her publications include a catalogue raisonné of the paintings of Euan Uglow (2007) and the forthcoming catalogue The Mystery of Appearance : British Figurative Painting 1950s- 70s (2012)
