Penny Ur is a world-renowned teacher trainer, author and conference speaker, with over 40 years' teaching experience. Her main interests are the integration of practice and theory in ELT, and the design of learning-rich classroom tasks. In 2013, Penny was awarded an OBE (Officer of the British Empire) for services to English language teaching.
