Biographie de Barton Schmitt

Barton D. Schmitt, MD, FAAP, is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is the past medical director of the after-hours call center at Children's Hospital Colorado. He teaches future health care professionals in the Child Health Clinic. Dr Schmitt has been a prolific writer. His American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) book Pediatric Telephone Protocols is used in most pediatric offices.The electronic version is found in several electronic health records.
His Pediatric Symptom Checker for parents is found on many office websites. It is also available as a smartphone app.The AAP version is called KidsDoc. Dr Schmitt has received 2 AAP awards : the C. Anderson Aldrich Award for contributions in child development and the Education Award for contributions in pediatric education.
