Sara Caldas is a Portuguese graphic designer based in Barcelona. After completing a bachelor's degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto, she moved to Barcelona to enrol in a master's degree in Communication Design at ELISAVA. Her education brought her into contact with different areas of visual communication, such as branding, illustration, and editorial design.
She started her professional career as LA Designer in a multinational consulting firm, designing intuitive digital platforms. This wide set of influences sparked her interest in the theme of emotional design, publishing the book Design, Create, Thrill. The Power Graphic Design to Spark Emotions, published by Hoaki Books in 2019. She currently works as a ux/ui Designer.
