Résumé

Can you tell the difference between a karate chop and a belly flop ? can you row, throw or put on a medal-winning show ? If the answer is yes... maybe you have what it takes to become an olympic champion. And if not... no need to panic. Find out everything you need to know about becoming a pro with this ultimate guide to every Olympic and Paralympic sport, packed with fascinating facts and weird and wonderful information.
Discover how the Olympics began, what could happen in the future, and what skills you'll need to get a head start. So, if you're speedy, sporty and just a little bit silly... what are you waiting for ?
Scott is a sports journalist, who will happily watch Olympic taekwondo way past his bedtime. It has taken him over 40 years to discover that he's only good at sports that involve water - swimming, water polo, octopush and diving in from the side of the pool. He's average at everything else, which is why he writes about sport instead. Scott lives in Yorkshire with his wife, two children and a cat. Antoine is an illustrator who has worked with major brands, newspapers and advertising agencies across the world.
He specialises in creating colourful, fun and beautifully striking work featuring busy patchworks of texture, imagery and typography. Antoine is a keen sailor and also loves sports that involve standing on a board, like surfing and skating ... but not diving as that's a bit scary. After living in Strasbourg, London, New York and Paris, Antoine now lives in Nantes, France.
