Résumé

Greece's best flavors - A journey along the sea side Under the Creek sun, along the shores of the Aegean Sea you may find that there is more to Creek cooking worth discovering ! Kimon Riefenstahl is an expert in hospitality and the owner of restaurants ranking amongst the best in the country. In Kimon's Greek Table, though, he is but an adventurer on a culinary journey to his very own Greek roots which take him back to original Mediterranean flavours, to colourful markets and traditional beekeepers, not without an occasional detour to gastronomic peaks.
In this book, he shares his discoveries from beyond the borders of traditional food rules, his personal collection of over 80 recipes for new culinary creations and timeless classics. A road to indulgence, better attentiveness and slowing down. The Mediterranean way.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Kimon Riefenstahl

Kimon Riefenstahl invests as much passion and love into cooking as he invests into his family-owned Luxury Resort in Halkidiki, Northern Greece. There, the guests' culinary well-being is being looked after by a plethora of outstanding and prominent chefs who produce local, international and high-end gourmet delights at the hotel's three restaurants ranking amongst the best in the country. This is usually his chance to drop the cooking tools, switch off the lights in his office and call it a day as a managing director and hobby chef.
He gets to pick up his saxophone, drink a chilled glass of wine among friends and lean back, while enjoying the fantastic view of the Mediterranean Sea. The evocative images of Mediterranean cuisine in this book were taken by the renowned London travel and food photographer Christopher Kennedy, whose atmospheric photographs skillfully capture the feeling of life in northern Greece.
