Résumé

The lied setting was composed for the Female Choir of Glier Institute of Music Kiev, Ukraine in 2011. All seven verses of the text by Matthias Claudius were set to music, and this is why the composer chose a form of composition which renders listening interesting by varying the setting, on the one hand, and establishes connections and form by setting several verses to music in the same way, on the other hand.
The world premiere with the choir took place in Kiev on 9 October 2011 under the composer's direction. Instrumentation : girl's or women's choir (SSAA) a cappella
