Résumé
Life suddenly becomes exciting for the boys of Welton Academy when their eccentric new English teacher, John Keating, appears. He teaches them to "seize the day" and to enjoy beauty in every aspect of life. Inspired by his enthusiasm, they revive the Dead Poets Society, a secret organization dedicated to poetry. They frequently meet in a hidden cave outside the campus and revel in the recital of all kinds of poetry.
Under the influence of their beloved teacher, the boys start learning to be true to themselves, and everything seems to be turning out fine. Then a tragedy happens ...
