In addition to the Tre Minuetti (Order No. ADV 7418), G. Puccini also wrote ("... in just one night on occasion of Amadeo of Savoy's death") the string quartet movement Crysanthemi on hand during his first creative period (around 1890). This version for saxophone quartet underscores the expressive and gloomy sonority of this work even more than the string quartet version does. Instrumentation : 4 saxophones (SATBar)
