Résumé

Didier Fassin is James Wolfensohn Professor of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study of Princeton and Director of Studies in anthropology at the Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales. His recent publications include When Bodies Remember : Experience and Politics of AIDS in South Africa and The Empire of Trauma : An Inquiry into the Condition of Victimhood (with Richard Rechtman).
Mariella Pandolfi is Professor of Anthropology at the University of Montréal where she is in charge of the research group on military and humanitarian interventions. In 2004 she received Montreal's Woman of Distinction Award. Her recent publications include Sovranitete të lëizshme : Kujtesa, konfliktet, dhuna në Ballkanin e erës globale and as co-editor, with Vincent Crapanzano, a special issue of Anthropologie et Société entitled "Passions politiques."
