The concerto presented here is an arrangement of one of the '6 Concerti pour 5 flutes traversières' op. 15. We used 4 flutes instead of 5 so that the work can be played by a flute quartet, one of the standard instrumentations for flute chamber music. This ingenious work is excellently suited as an hors d'oeuvre for a flute quartet evening. Instrumentation : 4 flutes
